Burger Boat Company was founded in 1863 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and is one of the oldest continuously operating yacht builders in the United States. The yard began with commercial and fishing vessels on the Great Lakes before turning to pleasure craft, and became known for pioneering welded aluminium construction in American yachting.
Today Burger builds fully custom motor yachts in aluminium and steel, generally between 30 and 60 metres. The yard collaborates with independent naval architects and designers such as Bruce King and Ken Freivokh, and is respected for classic, understated exteriors, robust engineering and long service lives.
