Baglietto S.p.A. is an Italian shipyard with a history spanning over 160 years, specializing in the construction of luxury yachts. Established in 1854 by Pietro Baglietto, the company initially focused on building fishing boats and small pleasure craft in Varazze, Italy. Over time, the shipyard began to expand its expertise, moving into the construction of racing sailboats and motor yachts.

During the early 20th century, Baglietto became recognized for its innovative designs and use of advanced materials for the era, such as aluminum. The shipyard gained prominence for its high-speed vessels and contributions to naval architecture and marine engineering. Throughout its history, Baglietto has been involved in various projects, including military vessels during wartime and then returning to focus on the luxury yacht market.

In the post-war period, Baglietto continued to develop fast motor yachts, a segment in which it established a strong reputation. The shipyard has undergone several ownership changes over the decades. In 2012, Baglietto became part of the Gavio Group, an Italian industrial conglomerate. This acquisition marked a new phase for the shipyard, involving investments in its infrastructure and product development.

Since joining the Gavio Group, Baglietto has focused on modernizing its production processes and expanding its range of displacement, semi-displacement, and planning yachts. The shipyard maintains its headquarters and primary production facilities in La Spezia, Italy. Its current product lines include a variety of custom and semi-custom motor yachts, typically ranging from 35 meters to over 60 meters in length. Baglietto emphasizes bespoke craftsmanship, Italian design, and performance in its yacht construction. The shipyard works with a range of international designers and naval architects to develop its models. Their construction philosophy integrates traditional Italian boatbuilding expertise with contemporary marine technology.
